How to do feed in braids with curly hair (glue down method)

Start by parting washed, moisturised and stretched hair from ear to ear in a half up half down style.

Tie the front section of the hair using a scrunchie or hair tie and start working on the bottom section.

Braid the bottom section into as many rows as you'd like to have. Ensure that the bottom part is a horizontal line braid.

After all the hair is braided, take your wig cap , put it over the braids securely, apply hair glue on the weft of your curly deep wave bundles and start gluing them down.

You can also spray got2b glue on the wig cap and glue the bundles on it.

Glue down as many bundles as you like depending on the volume you're going for with 2 bundles being the minimum.

Tip- If you'd like to have no leave out. At the top most braided row, glue down the curly deep wave hair the opposite way to ensure that your tracks are covered.

Once you're done with the bottom section. Go back to the top section.

Part the top section into two sides, use shine n jam on your parts and start doing your stitch braids.

The key to doing neat stitch braids is using shine n jam on your parts and gradually feeding small amounts of hair in along the length of the braid.

How to do feed in braids with curly hair (sew-in method)

Just like in part 1, part washed, moisturised and stretched hair from ear to ear into two sections.

Tie the top section using a hair tie or scrunchie and start working on the bottom section.

Part your hair, braid it into your desired number of braids and put a wig cap on it.

Take your curly deep wave bundles and use your hair needle and thread to sew in the tracks into your hair.

Tip- At the top most part during the last sew in, sew in the hair while it's facing the opposite side to prevent the tracks from showing.

Repeat this process until you're satisfied with the volume of your hair.

Proceed to the top section and divide it into 2 parts.

Use shine n jam on your roots as you're parting the sections for your cornrows to ensure that they look clean and neat.

Braid your hair into stitch cornrow braids as you gradually feed in the braiding hair.

Use edge control to lay your baby hairs.

Key takeaways:

1) Make sure your curly deep wave bundles are at least 26 to 30 inches long.

2) You can do this hairstyle on a water wave wig but the end results will differ since the wig cap will be visible.

3) You can also crotchet the curly hair in at the back but it won't look the same.

4) You can add beads on your braids or use whichever parting style/design for your feed ins.
